Convergence Group acquires LAN3 in move to scale up its UK operations

Thursday 1st July: Convergence Group, the telecoms provider for businesses, health authorities and retailers, today announced its acquisition of the network specialist, LAN3, in a move to scale up its operations and deliver best-in-class network infrastructure for its customers.

Convergence Group’s acquisition of LAN3 will boost the business’s revenue by more than 15%, whilst pooling the expertise of two like-minded network specialists.

The acquisition allows Convergence Group and LAN3 to drive forward their shared ambition of delivering a commercial model that disrupts and forces change through a maturing industry - giving customers control of an essential utility through a pay-as-you-go subscription, as opposed to traditional long-term contracts that are inflexible and expensive over the term.

LAN3 customers will now benefit from being part of a larger group and have access to a deeper and wider pool of resource, products and services that will benefit their business connectivity needs and allow for greater flexibility for customers as their businesses change.
