Big news! From 1st April 2026, M247 will be fully united under the Convergence Group name.
Officially, we’ll now be known as Convergence Group (Wireless) Networks Limited. When change happens, it’s only natural to have questions. So we’ve brought together a whole lot of answers. We hope it covers everything you need. + Why is the company changing its name?
Our company has recently been acquired by Convergence Group. As part of this transition, we’ll be operating under a new name. By bringing the strengths of both companies under one name, it enables our parent organisation to better align our future growth strategy.
+ Is this company under new ownership?
Yes. We have been acquired by a new parent company. However, while the ownership has changed, you can be sure our core operations, services and commitments all remain the same.
+ Are your products or services changing?
No. Our products will remain the same. You can expect the same quality and reliability you’re accustomed to. However, as part of our strengthened capabilities across the wider group, you will begin to see enhancements in service delivery, support and overall customer experience. This change enables us to leverage broader expertise, resources and innovation to serve you better.
+ Will my contracts or agreements change?
No. All existing contracts, agreements and terms remain valid and unchanged. Everything stays the same.
+ Are pricing, billing or payment terms changing?
No. There are no changes to pricing, invoicing, payment terms or billing processes as part of this name change.
+ Will there be changes to the team I work with?
No. Your existing contacts and account representatives will stay the same.
+ Is the legal entity changing?
No. The legal entity, tax identification numbers and company registration details remain unchanged. Only the trading/brand name will change.
+ Will there be a new website or email addresses?
Yes. We will be moving to a new website www.Convergencegroup.co.uk and email domain (firstname.secondname@CG-net.uk). During the transition period, both old and new contact details will work to ensure continuity until 30th April.
+ Will this affect customer support?
No. Our support processes, response times and service levels remain unchanged.
+ Do I need to update your company name in my systems?
Yes. We kindly ask that you update our company name and address in your records to reflect the new brand name, effective from 1st April 2026. All other details remain the same.
+ Will your banking details change?
No. Our banking details remain unchanged. If this ever changes in the future, we’ll formally let you know through official channels.
+ Will Invoicing details change?
Yes. Email address invoices will now come from CG Billing – Noreply@CG- net.uk. The general format of these will remain the same with only the logo and billing address changing.
+ Why is this change good for customers?
Becoming part of a larger organisation strengthens our ability to invest in innovation, expand our capabilities and keep on delivering exceptional service.
+ When does the new name take effect?
The new name will officially take effect on 1st April 2026. You should start to see our new brand in our communications, invoices, website and more, from that date onward.
