Position: Senior Cisco Network Engineer
We are a successful System Integrator and rapidly growing Global Network Service Provider who has a requirement for a senior Cisco Engineer to join our rapidly expanding design and infrastructure team.
The successful candidate will be joining a small team of existing Network Engineers and will be exposed to Network design, configuration, implementation, and 3rd line support. Skills and experience:
· Cisco training and accreditation up to level – CCNP / CCDP and CCSP qualifications.
· A minimum of 5 years experience supporting Network infrastructure and environments including: MPLS / BGP / Internet VPN / Security / LAN’s
· Knowledge of formal network design methodology
· Customer facing experience
· First class written and verbal communication skills.
· Research and Development of innovative technologies and its application to the business.
· Be a team player in dynamic fast moving environment
Day to Day Duties and Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Technical Director
- Assist with Network design
- Lead technical projects on internal and external requirements (some travel will be required)
- Carry our R&D on new and emerging technologies
- Offer input to company strategy and growing Network Asset
- Offer 3rd line support to existing service desk engineers – CCNA – CCNP
